Our Footscray office is moving

Improving Our Community Supports

At Gateways Support Services, our commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate support drives every decision we make. After thoughtful consideration, we have decided to close our Footscray office and relocate all its programs and services to our Werribee location. 

Why are we moving? 

This move will help us focus our resources where they’re needed most, so we can continue to provide the high-quality support you count on. By bringing all our services together in Werribee, we can better meet the needs of all our clients and their families, making sure everyone gets the care and attention they deserve. 

What Does This Mean for You? 

Starting from September 20th 2024, all the programs and services that were offered at our Footscray office will now be available at our Werribee location. This includes: 

  • Market Markers  
  • Gateways Gazette 

If you’re already receiving support from our Werribee office, don’t worry—everything will continue as usual, with no disruptions to your programs and supports. Some of the ongoing programs at Werribee include: 

  • Healthy Connections  
  • Community based programs 

Program meeting points:

  • Footscray station, along with other frequently used locations, will continue to be meeting points for community-based programs 
  • Gateways will continue to offer pick up and drop off services as part of our support 

We know that this might bring up some questions or concerns, and we’re here to help. If you or your family are directly affected by this change, you’ll hear from us with all the details you need. We’ll be with you every step of the way to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible. 

Why Werribee? 

By moving our Footscray services to our existing office in Werribee, we’re able to bring everything together, meaning we can continue to focus on providing support to you and your family in the ways that matter most. We are also able to provide you with a more welcoming experience with more of our team members available at the one location to welcome you to your services and programs. 

What’s Next? 

Our Footscray office will officially close on September 20th 2024 and all services will be up and running in Werribee from this day. We’re working hard to make sure this change goes smoothly, and we’re confident that this move will allow us to offer even better support to all our clients.
