New playgroup for kids with developmental delay in Melbourne’s west
This new therapist-supported playgroup in Wyndham is helping children aged 2-4 years build their social skills, flexibility, sensory regulation and ability to follow routines. It’s also giving parents and carers a chance to connect with each other.
The Early Intervention Therapy Playgroup builds developmental skills through indoor play, group music and story time, snack time as well as outdoor play.
A Speech Pathologist and Occupational Therapist will work together with you and your child during the small group sessions.
The group provides parents and carers with the opportunity to share ideas and talk with other families attending the group, as well as gaining a better
understanding and awareness of their child’s needs and the best ways to support them.
Suitable for children with a developmental delay or specific diagnosis, the group will commence in term 2, 2020.
