New Geelong gardening service creating jobs for people with a disability

Gateways Ground Up Gardening is a brand new program providing meaningful employment opportunities for adults with a disability.  The Ground Up team are supported by Gateways qualified staff to deliver an affordable and professional gardening service.

For the Ground Up employees, the program is helping them reach their goals by being part of the workforce, learning new skills and contributing to the community. Based in Geelong, currently the team are operating five days per week, Monday to Friday across the Barwon region.

Gateways Ground Up Gardening can help with the following:

  • Lawn mowing
  • General gardening
  • Weed control
  • Rubbish removal
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Car washing
