Ally launches a delicious new business
2017 is set to be an exciting year for Ally Deller, who will be launching her own business ‘Moopster’s Munchies.’
Ally who completed year 12 this year, has been busy like other young people her age, making choices on what she wanted to do once she graduated secondary school. Having always enjoyed cooking, Ally decided she wanted to become her own boss and over the past months has been working hard setting up the new catering venture. Her new business Moopster’s Munchies will offer delicious homemade morning teas, using on the freshest ingredients, delivered to your place of work or home.
Ally and her mum Kathy, have used her NDIS plan to build a strong team of people who will support Ally to bake everything in her registered kitchen at home, and then personally deliver it.
Her menu includes old fashioned favourites such as Yo Yo’s, hedgehog, ginger snaps, biscuits and more. She’s also ensuring there’s something for everyone with gluten free options available.
We’ve supported Ally for a number of years through our Respite and Recreation programs and in recent years have also helped her make the most of her NDIS plan with Support Coordination. We’re looking forward to continuing to work closely with Ally as she launches her new business.
This week Ally delivered some of her sample short breads to the team at our Gateways office, and if the sample is a taste of what’s to come we can’t wait for Moopster’s Munchie’s to officially open for business!
